...is located in the Sintra hills - the Park and Palace of Pena. I spent a really nice day there, in Sintra. The palace is gorgeous and the colours are incredible. It is said that it gave inspiration to Disney's palace. Sometimes it is hard to believe that a so romantic and colorful place exist. The views from the balconies are spectacular. The surrounding park is just amazing. It consists of a forest and luxuriant gardens with over five hundred different species of trees originating from the four corners of the earth. It is great for a walk. The place is just beautiful.
