The Hallwyl House

The Hallwyl Museum is literally like going back 100 years in time. It's a magnificent palace in the centre of Stockholm which hasn't changed anything since the owners died! Really. The house once belonged to the Count and Countess von Hallwyl. So, it is a private house and collection donated by them to become a museum after their deaths. The house has the luxuries of the past with a sumptuous dining room, drawing room, smoking room, billiard room, ladies room, armoury, velvet armchairs etc. It's a wonderful place in the center of Stockholm well worth a visit.
